Running a
football club of
any size brings
with it an
enormous amount
of expense and
at Spartans we
are no
different,
relying on the
enthusiasm and
generosity of
volunteers, with
our players
playing for the
love of the
game, giving
their all for
the club without
getting any sort
of payment in
return. As a
result of the
costs involved
in creating one
of the best
women’s and
girls’ football
clubs in
Scotland it is
imperative we
receive
financial
donations from
individuals and
businesses
alike.
Spartans Women
and Girls'
Football Club
are delighted to
have many loyal
and passionate
supporters that
encourage the
players and
staff on a
weekly basis.
With such
fantastic
support behind
the club we want
to provide the
best environment
for the players,
volunteers and
fans alike. As a
result of our
efforts we have
helped galvanize
Spartans Women &
Girls' into
becoming one of
Scotland’s most
successful
clubs, providing
opportunities
for Women and
Girls within the
local community
to participate
in football in a
safe environment
as well as
maintaining a
healthy
lifestyle. The success of the women's first team has a pyramid effect on the other teams within the club and encourages Women and Girls to become involved with the playing staff proving to be excellent role models for our youngsters. At present we currently have girls’ teams at U11, U13 and U15 age groups and it’s our aim to add an U17 team as well as a third women's team, achieving our goal of supporting over 100 players and volunteers. |

The expense of
competing at the
highest level in
the Scottish
Women's Premier
League
throughout the
season is
enormous. None
of the playing
or backroom
staff receive
any form of
payment, but
give their all
for the club,
for the love of
the game and the
promotion of the
sport. Whilst
Spartans Women &
Girls' do invest
time in raising
funds for the
club (Bag
Packing,
Raffles, Race
nights etc), we
still struggle
to cover our
costs and as
such the players
and volunteers
are still
required to fund
facilities and
extensive travel
costs.
Therefore we are
looking for
companies and/or
individuals to
help support our
running costs by
sponsoring a
player or
supporting the
club in other
ways. |

This
welcome
influx
of
funds
follows
the
excellent
start
the
club
have
made
to
their
Premier
League
campaign
and
their
success
in
reaching
the
Premier
League
Cup
Final
against
city
rivals
Hibernian
Ladies.
On
the
announcement
of the
sponsorship
deal,
John
Shaw -
