Aberdeen 0 Spartans 3
Spartans made the long journey north for their final away league fixture of the short season and captured all three points with a fine 3-0 victory.

Two 1st half goals from Hayley Lauder, one a spectacular overhead kick gave Spartans the lead at the interval. After the break Spartans were reduced to 10 players when a short pass back was handled just outside the box and Jo Hutcheson was unlucky to see red for the second time this season. Although reduced in numbers Spartans scored a third courtesy of a Di Barry goal. Click to view Video

Spartans 2 Forfar Farmington 0
Spartans were 2-0 victors over a spirited Forfar side this afternoon at the Spartans Academy. Spartans left back Hayley Lauder scored a terrific goal six minutes into the game when she fired a right foot shot over Fiona McNicholl from around 22 yards. Spartans had further chances to increase their lead without capitalising and went into the interval with a slender lead. Twelve minutes into the second half and Claire Crosbie scored from inside the six yard box. Spartans played some good football today but need to find their shooting boots for their final two matches. Makeshift Goalkeeper Danni Pagliarulo never had a save to make with Forfar's two closest effort just clearing the crossbar and wide of the post before the end.

Spartans Women Training Session

I was privileged to be asked by the SFA to take part in their Coach Education Conference at the weekend. And I would just like to first thank you for allowing me to work with your players. And secondly congratulate you on the quality and enthusiasm of the girls. They were a joy to work with and made the session very easy for me by the quality of their play and their ability to pick things up so quickly. It was obvious that they have have been well coached at your club. Everything we did they carried out with a smile on their face and with no complaints, please say thank you to them for me. Once again thank you and every success in the future.
