Wednesday 27th. August 2008 - Scotland Women’s national squad take on Finland in the second of a two match international challenge to be played at Vaasa.

Sunday 24th. August 2008 - Scotland Women’s national squad played Finland in the first of a two match international challenge which took place at Pietarsaari.

Thursday 21st. August 2008 - Scotland Women’s national coach Anna Signeul has announced the squad that will head to Finland for two international challenge matches. Congratulations to Spartans players Shelley Kerr and Joanna Hutcheson who have been selected for the squad.

The draw was made today for the quarter finals of the Scottish Women's Premier League Cup to be played on Sunday 14th. September 2008.

Sunday 17th. August 2008 - SPARTANS F.C. travelled to West End Park to play Forfar in a first round League Cup Tie.

Spartans B Want You !!
 Spartans B will be playing in the Scottish Women's League 2nd. Divison and are looking for players to add to their squad for the forthcoming season. All positions are required so come along and try out for us.

We also need a new manager / coach to help us through this exciting season, help will be given,so although it would be good, no experience is required.

 Spartans are delighted to announce that Scottish Internationalist Shelley Kerr is joining the Club as Head Coach and Player of the Womens Premier League team. The appointment is "a  tremendous pre season boost that will provide the platform for the continuing development of womens and girls football in the Lothians".
