Friday 28th. September 2007 - The draw for the SWPL Cup semi-finals was made this afternoon at Hampden Park by the SFA's Chief Executive Gordon Smith and Julie Frame. Semi-final ties are scheduled to be played on Wednesday 17th October 2007, and as per the League and League Cup Competition Rules 2007-2008, both ties will be played at neutral venues.

Everyone at Edinburgh Ladies FC extends a warm welcome to new signing Joanna Hutcheson who has previously played football for Aberdeen Ladies F.C. and Hibernian Ladies F.C. Joanna's goalkeeping ability has earned recognition at all levels of the Scottish International teams.

                                                        Friday 14th. September 2007  ---   Scotland Women's U19’s squad announced for the UEFA Women’s 19 Championships 2007/2008 1st Qualifying Round – LVIV, UKRAINE Monday 24th September to Wednesday 3rd October 2007.

Confirmation has been received this week from Newburgh JFCL that they will be withdrawing from the Scottish Women's Premier League. Due to extenuating circumstances many players were not in a position to re-sign this season and the club have been unable to add to their current squad. As a result, Newburgh have been forced to resign from the League. Fixture list and league table have been amended accordingly.

Wednesday 5th. September 2007 - Scotland Women’s U19 Coach Tony Gervaise today announced the Scotland squad that will play Denmark on Tuesday 11th and Thursday 13th. September in Denmark. Congratulations to ELFC players Sarah Archibald, Molly McKean, Stacey Calder and Hayley Lauder on their selection for the squad..
