 Thursday 21st. December 2006 - SCOTLAND TO PLAY ENGLAND AT NEW WEMBLEY

Scotland have been lined up as the opening opponents for England at the new Wembley Stadium when it reopens in 2007. WOMEN’S UEFA EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2007/2009 DRAW - Wednesday, 13 Dec 2006

This afternoon in Nyon, Swizerland the live draw for the qualifying group stage of the UEFA Women’s European Championships for 2007/2009 took place. Scotland coach Anna Signeul watched as Lars Christian Olsson, UEFA Chief Executive and Karen Espelund, the Chair of the Women's Committee did the draw in front of a prestigeous group of coaches from the women's game.
Scotland were drawn in Group 5 with Denmark, Ukraine, Portugal and Slovakia.

       Sunday 10th. December 2006 - ELFC entertained SWPL newcomers Hutchison Vale at St. Mark's Park, Warriston, Edinburgh. ELFC won 7-0 with goals from Diane Barry (4), Chelsea Bate (2) and Danielle Weir.

Tuesday 5th. December   --   TOUGH DRAW FOR WOMEN'S UNDER 19s
 Scotland Women's Under 19 side have the toughest possible route to the UEFA finals after today's draw for the second qualifying round.They must travel to face the competition title holders, Germany, along with Sweden and Hungary in a group where only the winners progress to the finals in Iceland next summer. The group will be hosted by Germany from 10-15 April, with the finals from 18-29 July. Scotland reached the second round with a 100 per cent record in the first qualifying.

Thursday 30th. November 2006  -  ELFC...4   Hibs LFC...1        

Edinburgh Ladies won a tough battle for the SWPL Cup with goals from Diane Barry (2), Molly McKean and Debbie McWhinnie but the star of the show was  ELFC's young goalkeeper Lorna Brownlie who defied Hibs with a series of great saves.
