'Spring Forward' and 'Fall Back' - that's how to remember when to change the clocks. This year we 'Fall Back' early Sunday morning 29th. October - so remember to put your clocks back one hour, officially at 1 a.m. or for some of us that will be before we go to sleep on Saturday night!

Wednesday, 18 Oct 2006  ---   SCOTLAND WOMEN U19’s GO THROUGH TOP OF THEIR GROUP IN UEFA EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP  

Although Scotland were already through to the next stage of the competition after beating Slovenia and Israel, the win against Russia means that they will go through to the next qualifying stages as leaders of their Group.       Match Report 

 

Sunday, 15 October  2006  ---  SCOTLAND u19's QUALIFY FOR THE NEXT STAGE OF THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS WHICH WILL COMMENCE IN APRIL 2007.

Israel .... 3    Scotland .... 6        Scotland continued their winning ways by defeating Israel this afternoon at the Ob Jezeru Stadium in Velenje with another goal tally of 6 from Scotland players Kerry Montgomery who netted a hat-trick, Kim Little with two and one from Hayley Cunningham.                 Match Report 

 

Friday, 13 October  2006  ---  SCOTLAND u19's GET OFF TO A WINNING START IN SLOVENIA 

Slovenia .... 1    Scotland .... 6        Slovenia were no match for Scotland this afternoon at the Ob Jezeru Stadium in Velenje with a goal tally of 6 from Scotland players Handley (27 mins), Cunningham (30mins), Little (41 mins and 71 mins), Ross (57mins) and Docherty (80mins).                                  Match Report

 

Tuesday 10th. October 2006 --- Scotland Women’s U19's prepare to leave for Slovenia to play in the UEFA 2007 European U19 Championship First Qualifying Round. Sunday 8th.October 2006 - ELFC entertained Raith Rovers at St. Mark's Park in their fourth Premier League game of the season. Those on target in their 6 - 1 win were Debbie McWhinnie (2), Diana Barry (2), Leanne Chrichton and Sarah Archibald.

Thursday 5th. October 2006 --- Everyone at Edinburgh Ladies FC extends a warm welcome home to Louise Moultray  who has returned from her summer coaching post in the United States to the wintry nights of Edinburgh. No doubt Louise is looking forward to a playing in the Scottish Women's Premiership alongside some of her previous colleagues from last year's Whitehill Welfare team.

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

             

Sunday 1st. October 2006 - The draw for the semi finals of the Premier League Cup sees Newburgh v Hibernian (to be played on Saturday 21st. October) and Kilmarnock v Edinburgh Ladies (to be played on Sunday 22nd. Sunday 1st. October 2006 - ELFC travelled to Dundee to take on Premier League newcomers Lochee United in the quarter final of the Premier League Cup and returned home 4 -0 winners. ELFC goals scored by Diana barry (2), Leanne Chrichton and one "own goal".
