Mikey DeAngelis Reserve Team Head Coach

Mikey made the step up from assistant coach to head coach in 2010. Having started his coaching career carrying equipment for his father at the age of 12 Mikey has matured quickly in to one of the most successful coaches in Spartans FC Youth history, winning the Paladin Cup, the Pillar Smith Cup and two league Cups with his boys team in the space of 18 months. Mikey is currently working towards his level 4 and UEFA B license. Currently believes his biggest coaching achievement to date is the time when he participated in a coaching session coaching Nati Lions FC, a professional South African team while doing charity work in Kwazulu Natal. Currently playing with Costa Coffee FC and Edinburgh University Reserves (a last resort player) he believes himself to be a much better coach than a player.
