Match Schedule – Ten Nations Tournament - La Manga - Spain

Monday 9th March 2009

Scotland 1-1 Denmark

Scotland held Denmark to a 1-1 draw, with both goals coming in the first quarter of the game. Elizabet Madjarac put the Danes ahead on 10 minutes, Tammy Harkin equalised after 22 minutes.

Coach Shelly Kerr said "We had a nervous start to the game and I think that maybe the team were a little bit daunted by playing such a quality team.

"However, we soon came back into it and we were much more settled and organised. We have been working very hard on keeping our shape and discipline and I thought that we defended very well and looked dangerous going forward.

"Overall, it was an excellent team performance and, with a bit more luck in front of goal, we could have come away with a win.
