Raith Rovers thumped Dundee United 6-3 at Dovecot Park on Thursday evening. Raith totally deserved the victory against a lacklustre United side who will now have to massively pick them up for derby day against Forfar on Sunday.

United took the lead through midfielder Cat GALLAGHER but ended up 3-1 down at the break.

Raith added a fourth a minute into the second half, United then pulled a goal back through Laurie DENNEY, then had a goal ruled offside by a shocking decision from the linesman.

Raith added a fifth before Susan BLYTH reduced the deficit to two.

Raith then completed the rout with a goal 15 minutes from time to complete a thoroughly deserved victory.
