MCWHINNIE DOES THE TRICK FOR EDINBURGH

A hat-trick by Debbie McWhinnie ensured Edinburgh maintained their challenge - and third place - with a 3-1 at Raith. Katie Bennet was on target for the home side.

“I’m very pleased,” says Edinburgh boss Carson Ralton. “We kept possession and we could have scored more if it hadn’t been for the good saves by Raith’s keeper.

I’m just disappointed we lost concentration and conceded a goal in the final minute.”
