Allen Park - Antrim - Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland u19 2 - 4 Scotland u17

Scotland Women's U17's notched up a deserved victory in the second match of a double header against Northern Ireland's U19 team.

Scotland were looking to even the score at Allen Park, Antrim, after losing 1-0 to their hosts earlier in the week, and quickly grabbed hold of the game.

Hutchison Vale's Sarah Ewens opened the scoring in two minutes, with Eilish McSorley of Glasgow City doubling the lead within 11 minutes.

In the second half, Northern Ireland burst back into the game with a Cathy Hyndman goal 10 minutes after the re-start, before Glasgow City's Emma Mitchell restored Scotland's two-goal lead on 69 minutes.

Scotland looked to have wrapped up the result just six minutes later when Lauren McMurchie added the fourth and wrapped up a Glasgow CIty hat trick.

With ten minutes to go Trudi Harbinson pulled one back for the hosts, setting up an exciting finale, but Scotland held on to their two-goal cushion.
