Hamilton v Kilmarnock - Sunday 10th. September 2006
Hamilton grabbed a 4-1 victory over Kilmarnock after a first-half clash led to each team losing a player. “It was a pretty evenly fought game,” says Hamilton boss Craig Renwick. “But unfortunately there was an incident which led to the red-cardings.”
Hamilton’s Suzanne Malone and Kilmarnock’s Amy McDonald were both sent off after 15 minutes - but it was the Accies who then gained control. Pamela Liddel scored a hat-trick and Bev McLaughlin also fired in a goal against her former team-mates.
