Pre Match Press Comments :-
Kilmarnock may be the Premier League Cup holders but semi-final opponents Edinburgh don’t feel like underdogs. They’ve already beaten Killie 2-1 in the Thompsons Solicitors Premier League and Edinburgh boss Carson Ralton believes his young side are capable of a win.
“It will be a hard game.” he admits. “There wasn’t much between us in that league game and I don’t expect there will be much in it tomorrow (Sun) either. It’s true we will be seen as the underdogs, as Kilmarnock have been here before and they have an experienced side. We’re the opposite. This is a big game for many of our players so we’ve been working to keep their feet on the ground. But we’ve been training well and many of the team are playing for their places. I’m confident that, if we produce a good performance, we can win.”
