Edinburgh Ladies 1 – 2 Hamilton Accies 

Watched by national team coach Anna Signeul, a win and 3 points for the Accies after a hard fought victory. Missing some regular starters Accies took the lead through a goal from Pamela Liddell. Playing well and defending the lead it was looking like a win for the Accies until the home side scored a late goal. Accies didn’t let this setback knock them out of their stride and scored a late late winner courtesy of Karen Penglase. A real team effort from all of the players but special mention to goalkeeper Elaine Fleming who had a player of the match performance. Next week the Premier side visit Forfar in a league fixture. A win for Accies could see them move up into the top six in the league.
